Job Description
4+ years of experience in software testing and QA
Strong in manual and automated testing (web, mobile, backend)
Proficient in at least one automation tool is mandatory: Playwright, Selenium, Karate, or Pytest
Hands-on experience using programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation
Experience in test strategy, planning, and test case design
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and DevOps practices
CI/CD pipeline integration for test automation
Familiarity with JIRA for defect and task tracking
Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills
Excellent communication and client interaction experience
Industrial domain testing experience is a plus
Experience handling hardware equipment for testing, including connecting and configuring, is desirable
Mentoring and collaboration within QA and dev teams
Key Responsibilities
Take end-to-end ownership of all testing activities for assigned projects
Must possess the authority and leadership to independently own and drive the QA process while ensuring high-quality standards.
Responsible for delivering regular updates to senior management on project progress and any arising issues.
Build test scripts using Java, Python, or equivalent programming languages
Collaborate with product, development, and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
Gather requirements and provide feedback during client discussions
Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, performance, and security testing
Experience with JMeter is an advantage.
Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks
Log and manage defects with traceability and clarity
Experience with Building Automation Systems is a plus
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Continuously improve testing tools, processes, and best practices
Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA standards
